## General policy
|
|
|
|
|
|
We are generally a hybrid workspace company supporting on-site, partly remote or fully remote work arrangements.
|
|
|
The level of flexibility on partly remote work is up to each team. Partly remote work is qualified as coming to the offices on a weekly basis, anything less is considered to be fully remote work, which must be approved by management on individual basis.
|
|
|
|
|
|
To avoid parallel communication channels within the team, all teams that have some of their members working remotely, should work in a fully remote mode, meaning that all team communication should be done on-line. As some communication simply does not happen in a remote environment and exchange of information and ideas is slower in general, teams are strongly encouraged to meet on-site as often as possible, at least once per week. Coming to the office and working together is therefore very much appreciated.

## Reporting
|
|
|
|
|
|
**Partly remote employees** must diligently report `Working from home` in the availability tool to communicate absence from the office and to properly and fairly account for transportation allowance (for Sinergise d.o.o. employees).
|
|
|
|
|
|
**Fully remote employees** are considered remote by default and should report any days coming to the office as `Office commute` in the availability tool for transportation allowance compensation (for Sinergise d.o.o. employees).
|
|
|
|
|
|
## Equipment
|
|
|
|
|
|
Each employee is entitled to a **single set of personal equipment** (displays, keyboard, dock, etc.), either for the company office or home. You can take your office personal equipment (excluding furniture) home at any time and notify the IT through a new [issue](https://git.sinergise.com/operations/it/public/-/issues). We do not provide compensation for home office furniture.

### Hot desks
|
|
|
|
|
|
If you do not have a permanent desk in the office, you can use a hot desk — a shared desk with a standard set of equipment. The number and location of hot desks will be adapted according to the needs. If your team has different needs from the current setup, inform the IT.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Hot desks should be kept clean and clear of any personal belongings after they are vacated at the end of the day. Disinfectants should be available on every hot desk.
|
|
|
|
|
|
## Compensation
|
|
|
|
|
|
All employees, regardless of remote status, receive a 25€ monthly allowance for use of their own means when working from home. This amount is reduced proportionally in case of part-time employment and absence, but not in case of working in the office (besides keeping accounting simple, we also want to have flexibility to work part of the day from the office and the other part from home).
|
|
|
|
